How To Uninstall VDD Permanently

Please follow the steps below to fully remove the Virtual Display Driver:

1. Open Device Manager
   
   
2. Expand Display adapters
   
   
3. Right-click Virtual Display Driver and select Uninstall device
   
   
4. ⚠️ Important: Make sure to check the box that says “Attempt to remove the driver for this device”
   
   
5. Click Uninstall to confirm
   
   
6. Open File Explorer, navigate to your C: drive and delete the folder named “VirtualDisplayDriver”. Then navigate to your current user Documents folder and delete “WindowsPowerShell” / “PowerShell” folder if they exist.
   
   
7. Press Windows + R, type “regedit” and hit Enter
   
   
8. Navigate to the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\DISPLAY and delete the key “MTT1337”. If it doesn’t exist or cannot be deleted, simply ignore this step.
   
   
9. Restart your computer 🔄
