Please follow the steps below to fully remove the Virtual Display Driver:
- Open Device Manager
- Expand Display adapters
- Right-click Virtual Display Driver and select Uninstall device
- ⚠️ Important: Make sure to check the box that says “Attempt to remove the driver for this device”
- Click Uninstall to confirm
- Open File Explorer, navigate to your C: drive and delete the folder named “VirtualDisplayDriver”. Then navigate to your current user Documents folder and delete “WindowsPowerShell” / “PowerShell” folder if they exist.
- Press Windows + R, type “regedit” and hit Enter
- Navigate to the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\DISPLAY and delete the key “MTT1337”. If it doesn’t exist or cannot be deleted, simply ignore this step.
- Restart your computer 🔄
