Kyoto Animation Studio has been attacked by some scum of the earth, and many wonderful people in a wonderful animation studio have passed. That's some rough shit. Can't say I watch any of their animes but god damn is it tragic. Usually even with fires, there are very minimal casualties but almost everyone in the building either died or is in critical condition in the hospital. Prayers out.

I think there are many people who like Japanese animation.

They've made some really high quality shows and movies. I highly recommend the movie "A Silent Voice" it is one of my favorites. Be warned it is pretty emotional but such a great watch.

I woke up and heard the news. I was so upset when this happened.

KyoAni was a BIG inspiration to my art and animation style. It's really sad to see some directors pass like this

KyoAni was the only animation studio I knew by name; they adapted the Key visual novels for a while. So much I don't understand about this like how so many people died to what seems like a fairly straightforward attack, and why someone would attack a studio specializing in moe of all genres.

It's horrible 33 of them are gone now. "A Silent Voice" was a pretty good movie, and had pretty good memories with my friends because of it, thanks KyoAni.
