Similar to Void, I'm currently pursuing a CS with emphasis in Data Sciences. I'm assuming lots of the automation comes down to Python or R? Was watching a video earlier today of a robot that had almost flawless shooting range accuracy with a pistol as its creators were pushing it around, hitting it with chairs and hockey sticks, and otherwise doing everything they could to mess it up. Kind of intimidating to see a robot be able to adapt almost instantaneously to the sort of obstacles they were throwing at it, especially with weaponry.

If you're using it for gaming pseudo exclusively, I would suggest you change the AMD CPU for Intel. Comparing benchmarks, the 9700k runs high end games, especially single-thredded (most everything), faster than anything else commercially released right now. That said, if the rig you're building is going to be used for any level of media production, that's a solid build you have there. You should probably look for a better PSU just to be on the safe side. 550W is fairly low and leaves you prone to hardware damage.
