Current chat situation

Hey @all,

I'd like to express my current disappointment with most of the current active people in the shoutbox.
Since a few weeks as the "public" Alpha was announced, the chat almost only consists of inquiries when it will be released.
Maybe im exaggerating but I feel like the amount of real conversations went downhill pretty much.
@Zlitz / @Vector nor any mod will release it earlier if X given people call for it. So to say nobody's cry will lead to an earlier release date.

So why dont we just wait without rushing someone?

Co-sign, sadly „ EC SOON“ went from a meme / joke to a serious question which needs to be asked every day for numerous times. Some people’s activity is actually just commenting „cool / nice / XYZ“ on Posts and asking when EC is ready lol

I dont know what you are talking about but I litterally only see it once a day maybe two and the meme box is for that sort of thing anyways? But you are right about rushing Vector and let him get it right instead of rushing a product

Meh, I mean to be fair there is nothing to really talk about, you can really only make small talk anyways.

 

I don't tend to chat much on the SB because I'm always working. But still here lurking some, I'll post on something when I see it's worth a discussion. Much better then just spamming imo.

You have to let them be. I do not think it is wrong to ask or try to collect information (as long as you are someone who does not spend asking for the same) But if you are someone who participates, helps and is interested. I don't see it as a bad thing. I personally am very hype. But not to be chosen, but that the project is finally done and say "guys, we did it here is the Alpha" the rest, it will be up to those who deserve it most selected by the staff. But you have to understand, that whenever there is a new project, a lot of adrenaline is really created around.

i think it just has to do with the fact that, sure they said no ETA but they still said June-July so a lot of people wonder since it's August almost when it's ready to have an eta at least. I think it's normal.

Just let it go,  it  is not too bad as far as i see. For my point of view, i don`t mind seeing emotes or just 2 words of a comment instead of a novel, i do personally work 10 hours every day, so i don`t really have too much time to be creative, i`m sure everybody is really busy , even if they would like to be more active, it is just not possible, people have to take care of their personal business and eventually family, but i do agree about not stressing out developers about the release, there is just no point, when is ready is ready : )

Thank you for your concerns. My personal plan was June-July but that’s my plan not our teams plan for release, so I do apologise for the mislead ETA. Regarding the spam, fear not! I do indeed read almost everything. We have staff notes for many active members, even the ones who won’t be getting access anytime soon. So rest assured, what I don’t see the staff do.

Memebox is called a memebox for a reason, it means nothing. Just enjoy yourself!

Don’t worry about Vector and the software development, no one can rush the process. We wont release anything that is rushed and poorly made. I can say one thing, the process has been going extremely well! No detections and no major concerns. We are perfectionists thus meaning it will take time.
