Detection and bans

How bans work

Not all bans are the same. Knowing the type tells you what to do next.

Account bans

The most common. The anti-cheat flags your game account. A new account can get you back in, but the underlying risk remains until a build is confirmed clean.

Hardware (HWID) bans

Some anti-cheats ban your machine, not just the account. A new account on the same PC can still be flagged. See our HWID bans guide for options.

Ban waves

Some games ban in waves rather than instantly. This is why checking status and playing smart matters even when nothing looks wrong yet.
