What is the best formation for a beginner?

Something that keeps its shape without instructions: 4-2-3-1, 4-4-2, 5-2-1-2, 5-3-2, 4-5-1. The 4-2-3-1 is the safest default because two holding midfielders cover most mistakes. Answer "something that works out of the box" on the management question and the quiz stays inside that group.
