Disable IPv6
- Press Win + R, type ncpa.cpl and press Enter
- Right-click your active connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) → Properties
- Uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) → OK
Set DNS to 1.1.1.1 / 9.9.9.9
In the same Properties window, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) → Properties, then choose Use the following DNS server addresses:
- Preferred DNS: 1.1.1.1
- Alternate DNS: 9.9.9.9
- Click OK, then OK again
Flush the DNS cache
- Press Win + R, type cmd, then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to run as admin
- Click Yes
- Run: ipconfig /flushdns
- You should see "Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache"
