Overlay performance and crash fix

Crashing right after injection?

Check for Explorer add-ons and Windows mods first. MEGAsync, Nextcloud, Windhawk and similar tools crash the cheat on our current framework, and they are the most common cause support sees right now. Uninstall them and restart. See Software that conflicts with Elocarry.

Required setup

These are mandatory. The overlay can crash or run poorly without them.

• Enable Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling: Settings → System → Display → Graphics → Advanced graphics settings
• Run Discord as administrator. Close every Discord process first, then reopen it as admin.
• Run normal PowerShell as administrator (not the x86 version and not PowerShell 7)
• Start Steam, your launcher and the game normally, never as administrator. See What to run as administrator.
• Install the latest NVIDIA or AMD drivers. This is required.
• Disable your GPU overlay: the NVIDIA Overlay, or the AMD Adrenalin overlay

Turn off or remove

• Do not override DLSS presets
• Turn off NVIDIA Reflex / Ultra / Freelag and the AMD equivalent low-latency input modes
• Turn off transparency effects: Settings → Personalization → Colors
• Turn off auto replay and clipping (NVIDIA, Discord, SteelSeries and similar). It causes GPU drops, input lag and FPS drops.
• Do not plug or unplug monitors during injection, as this can crash
• Uninstall FACEIT, Vanguard, ESEA and any other boot-time anti-cheats
• Uninstall Explorer integrations and Windows mods such as MEGAsync, Nextcloud and Windhawk

Display and resolution

• G-Sync or FreeSync is fine. Enable it for both windowed and fullscreen apps.
• Any windowed or borderless resolution is supported
• Exclusive fullscreen is not supported. Use borderless windowed.

General tips

• Cap your FPS to your monitor refresh rate, in your GPU control panel or in-game
• Set Windows for best performance: System Properties → Performance Options → Visual Effects → Adjust for best performance
