ESP or overlay not showing

No ESP on screen? It is nearly always another overlay drawing on top, or the display mode. Work through these in order.

Quick answer
Switch the game to Borderless or Windowed mode, turn off other overlays, keep the Discord overlay or RTSS set up, then restart and inject again. If the F5 debug console opens, the cheat is running and only the overlay is missing.

Check these in order

  1. Set the game to Borderless or Windowed Fullscreen. Exclusive fullscreen is not supported.
  2. Turn off overlays that draw on top: the NVIDIA overlay, the AMD Adrenalin overlay, Overwolf and Discord clipping.
  3. Make sure the Discord overlay or RTSS is set up as your setup guide says, and that Discord runs as administrator.
  4. Start Steam and the game normally, not as administrator. See What to run as administrator.
  5. Restart your PC and inject again.
  6. Press F5 in game to open the debug console.

What the F5 console tells you

If the debug console opens, the cheat is running and the problem is the overlay layer, so go back over steps 1 to 3. If it does not open, start from Troubleshooting basics.

Still blank?

Explorer add-ons and Windows mods such as MEGAsync, Nextcloud and Windhawk can break the overlay on our current framework. Uninstall them and restart. The full list is in Software that conflicts with Elocarry.
