Escape From Tarkov cheat requirements

What your PC and your copy of Escape From Tarkov need before the first launch. The first list applies to every build we make; the second is specific to Escape From Tarkov.

Every build

A Windows 10 or 11 PC. There is no macOS, Linux or console version of any build. Getting started
A Discord account. Setup runs through the Discord, and Barry answers there around the clock.
The game installed through a supported launcher and fully updated before you load in.
Borderless or windowed display mode. Exclusive fullscreen is not supported and is the usual reason an overlay flickers or vanishes. Overlay settings
No boot-time anti-cheat from another game installed, such as Riot Vanguard, FACEIT or ESEA. They can stop the loader from opening. Loader will not open
No HTTPS interception software (Fiddler, mitmproxy) or its certificates on the PC. The anti-leak system flags them. Remove Fiddler certificates

Escape From Tarkov 1.1.0 or later, from the BSG Launcher or Steam. The Steam release arrived with 1.0 on 15 November 2025, and both are supported.
No DMA card, second PC or capture card. The Tarkov build is internal and software only.

How to set up the Escape From Tarkov cheat

Setup is the same four steps on every title, and most people are in a match within a few minutes of paying.

1 Pay, then open the onboarding email that arrives the moment payment clears. Check spam if it is not in your inbox. Getting started
2 Join the Elocarry Discord. Your licence and Discord role are granted automatically.
3 Run the one command from the onboarding email in normal PowerShell as administrator (not the x86 version and not PowerShell 7). It launches the loader.
4 Follow the loader, start the game, then open the in-game menu with the hotkey the loader shows. Every feature is a toggle and your settings save to your account.

Before your first Escape From Tarkov match

Set the loot filter and price colour ranges before your first raid, so the valuable item in a room stands out in one look. Opened containers can be hidden on busy maps.
Turn on quest ESP for task raids. Since 1.1, side tasks come in groups from several traders, and quest ESP tracks them across traders at once.
For the aimbot, keep the FOV small, leave the visibility check on and mix the hitbox, or use silent aim, which never moves your crosshair.

Escape From Tarkov cheat not working?

Check live status first: after a Escape From Tarkov update the build is paused until it is rebuilt, and that is the most common reason nothing loads. Then work through the fixes below.

The build will not load after a Tarkov patch

The build is rebuilt when Battlestate patches the game or BattlEye updates, and sales pause while that happens. Check live status before your first raid after any update.

Why cheats stop working after updates

BattlEye errors when the game starts

Restart the PC, then repair or verify the game files in the BSG Launcher or Steam, which reinstalls the BattlEye service. Close other overlays and tools if it still kicks you on start.

Unsure whether PvE needs different settings

The same build runs in PvE, but your PvE profile sits on the same Battlestate account as your PvP one, so keep the same sensible settings in both.

Fixes that work on every title

Nothing works after a game patch

Check live status first. Builds are paused while they are rebuilt after an update, and loading a paused build is the fastest way to waste a session or risk a ban. Live status
The loader will not open

Update Windows, uninstall boot-time anti-cheats (Vanguard, FACEIT, ESEA), run the command from normal PowerShell as administrator and make sure the Windows clock is synced. Loader will not open
The menu or ESP is not showing

Switch the game to borderless or windowed, turn off overlays that draw on top (the NVIDIA or AMD overlay, Discord clipping, Overwolf), keep the Discord overlay or RTSS set up as the setup guide says, then restart and re-inject. If the F5 debug console opens, the build is running and the problem is the overlay layer. ESP or overlay not showing
FPS drops, stutter or overlay crashes

Enable Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling, install current NVIDIA or AMD drivers, cap FPS to your refresh rate and turn off replay and clipping tools. Overlay performance and crash fix
The loader will not authenticate

An out-of-sync clock is the usual cause. Turn on automatic time and time zone in Windows, then sync. Connection errors are often fixed by the DNS and IPv6 steps. Fix your system clock

Escape From Tarkov anti-cheat

Escape From Tarkov runs BattlEye on both the BSG Launcher and Steam versions. The build is polymorphic and rebuilt when Battlestate patches the game or BattlEye updates, which can happen on a day the game itself does not change.

In Tarkov the risk is reports as much as software: a player who lands a perfect neck shot through a bush every raid gets reported. Loot, quest and extract ESP change nothing anyone can see; the aim is what needs care.

Battlestate patches Tarkov regularly, and BattlEye updates on its own schedule. Either one triggers a rebuild, with sales paused until the build is back. The current build supports 1.1 and the Kord Breach season.
