Dead by Daylight cheat requirements

What your PC and your copy of Dead by Daylight need before the first launch. The first list applies to every build we make; the second is specific to Dead by Daylight.

Every build

A Windows 10 or 11 PC. There is no macOS, Linux or console version of any build. Getting started
A Discord account. Setup runs through the Discord, and Barry answers there around the clock.
The game installed through a supported launcher and fully updated before you load in.
Borderless or windowed display mode. Exclusive fullscreen is not supported and is the usual reason an overlay flickers or vanishes. Overlay settings
No boot-time anti-cheat from another game installed, such as Riot Vanguard, FACEIT or ESEA. They can stop the loader from opening. Loader will not open
No HTTPS interception software (Fiddler, mitmproxy) or its certificates on the PC. The anti-leak system flags them. Remove Fiddler certificates

How to set up the Dead by Daylight cheat

Setup is the same four steps on every title, and most people are in a match within a few minutes of paying.

1 Pay, then open the onboarding email that arrives the moment payment clears. Check spam if it is not in your inbox. Getting started
2 Join the Elocarry Discord. Your licence and Discord role are granted automatically.
3 Run the one command from the onboarding email in normal PowerShell as administrator (not the x86 version and not PowerShell 7). It launches the loader.
4 Follow the loader, start the game, then open the in-game menu with the hotkey the loader shows. Every feature is a toggle and your settings save to your account.

Before your first Dead by Daylight match

Try the full build free through the dashboard before you pay.
Start with the information options. ESP, auras and the lobby revealers change nothing about how you move, so nothing about them can be spotted by a spectator.
Leave the speed option off. It ships off by default and flagged high risk, because movement speed is the one thing the server measures and every spectator can see.
The perk and cosmetic option works server-side: every perk, item, add-on, offering and cosmetic is usable in the trial on the characters you own.

Dead by Daylight cheat not working?

Check live status first: after a Dead by Daylight update the build is paused until it is rebuilt, and that is the most common reason nothing loads. Then work through the fixes below.

Your copy is on Epic or the Microsoft Store

The build supports Dead by Daylight on Steam only. Epic and Microsoft Store copies will not run.

The build is down after a new chapter

The build is rebuilt the moment the game or EAC patches, which in Dead by Daylight means every chapter, mid-chapter and hotfix. It is usually back the same day.

Why cheats stop working after updates

Kicked by Easy Anti-Cheat

A kick is EAC refusing to run a client it does not trust, and you can usually still log in afterwards. Stop, check live status and do not load the build again until it shows live.

Nothing works after a game patch

Check live status first. Builds are paused while they are rebuilt after an update, and loading a paused build is the fastest way to waste a session or risk a ban. Live status
The loader will not open

Update Windows, uninstall boot-time anti-cheats (Vanguard, FACEIT, ESEA), run the command from normal PowerShell as administrator and make sure the Windows clock is synced. Loader will not open
The menu or ESP is not showing

Switch the game to borderless or windowed, turn off overlays that draw on top (the NVIDIA or AMD overlay, Discord clipping, Overwolf), keep the Discord overlay or RTSS set up as the setup guide says, then restart and re-inject. If the F5 debug console opens, the build is running and the problem is the overlay layer. ESP or overlay not showing
FPS drops, stutter or overlay crashes

Enable Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling, install current NVIDIA or AMD drivers, cap FPS to your refresh rate and turn off replay and clipping tools. Overlay performance and crash fix
The loader will not authenticate

An out-of-sync clock is the usual cause. Turn on automatic time and time zone in Windows, then sync. Connection errors are often fixed by the DNS and IPv6 steps. Fix your system clock

Dead by Daylight anti-cheat

Every PC version of Dead by Daylight launches Easy Anti-Cheat before the game, backed by server-side checks that flag impossible actions. The build is polymorphic and rebuilt the moment the game or EAC patches.

Speed and instant escape are visible to everyone in the trial, which is why the speed option ships off with a warning. The information features are the quiet side of the build.

Dead by Daylight updates and the build

Dead by Daylight patches every chapter, with mid-chapter updates and hotfixes in between. Each one triggers a rebuild that is usually back the same day, and if a patch takes the build down, sales pause and lost time is covered by the compensation policy.
